The Christner family takes pride in their community. Outside of the restaurant, you can find the family giving back to local charities and organizations throughout Central Florida. From sponsorship to board membership, they believe communities are only as strong as one builds them.
“We believe community philanthropy is the heartbeat of our society, where compassion fuels action, and collective effort ignites transformation. Community philanthropy thrives when individuals unite to donate to worthy organizations, igniting a ripple effect of generosity that strengthens the very fabric of our community,” said Owner Alice Christner.

From the early days in the 1990s along a quiet Lee Road, a family-owned steakhouse legacy was emerging in Orlando. The modest, single building was previously known by a variety of names including Bakerstreet Grill, Tony Marino’s, and Morgan’s Lobster House.

Fast forward to 2000, the Christner family expanded the restaurant with a second neighboring building, formerly Straub’s and Nick’s Boat Yard, with the signature central lobby and porte-cochère.

The heart and soul of Christner’s began with Carole Christner and her late husband, Russ. Many of the founding principles and traditions still stand today. Although the official name of Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster name debuted 10 years ago in 2013, the iconic restaurant has been owned and operated by the Christner family since 1993.
From USDA Prime Steaks, cold-water lobster tails, and a classic steakhouse menu features to the rich leather seating and low lighting, every day is a special occasion at Christner’s.

Boasting two unique lounges, nine private dining rooms, and an intimate main dining room, guests enjoy an elegant fine dining experience complemented by celebrated live entertainment.
A popular venue for holiday parties, wedding receptions, business meetings, birthday celebrations, and special occasions, Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster accepts reservations at ChristnersPrimeSteakAndLobster.com or 407.645.4443.
