Plan a holiday outing for you and your friends or family before it's too late. A 1940's Radio Christmas Carol is at Osceola Arts now through December 22, 2024.
This holiday season, Osceola Arts presents 1940's Radio Christmas Carol.
Transport back to Christmas Eve, 1943 with this broadcasting from Newark, NJ. The Feddington Players are set to deliver a unique rendition of Dickens's "A Christmas Carol" amidst the chaos of live radio production.
The performance takes a poignant turn as William St. Claire, a seasoned actor but radio novice, experiences a personal crisis live on air, blending his life with Dickens's tale. The cast creatively navigates the mishaps, culminating in a film noir-inspired finale that promises mystery, intrigue, and a dash of humor.
Featuring original songs by "High School Musical's" Faye Greenberg and David Wohl, plus swing versions of Christmas classics, you’ll enjoy drama, comedy, and holiday cheer.
