Central Florida fans of the popular Chicago-style food chain Portillo's can now enjoy Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake in Waterford Lakes.
Sun's out, buns out as Portillo's continue their expansion across Central Florida, with the company announcing the opening date of yet another new restaurant in Central Florida, with the chains Chicago-style street food coming to Waterford Lakes Town Center from Thursday, December 5, 2024.
Fast becoming a Central Florida favorite, the chain offers signature menu items including Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake.
Located at 315 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828, this will be the chains 7th Florida restaurant, joining locations in Sanford, O-Town West, Kissimmee, and more.
The new location in Waterford Lakes Shopping Center on Alafaya Trail feature the chains signature diner-style design, including a large dining room, together with an outdoor patio, together with a double-lane drive-thru.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will held on Thursday, December 5 at 9:30 am, followed by a grand opening event at 10 am.
Portillo’s CEO, Michael Osanloo commented, "Orlando has been a great new market for Portillo’s over the past few years.” He continued, “We’ve loved serving our unrivaled Chicago street food to the Orlando community, and we’re excited to continue to give guests in the Sunshine State even more convenience with additional restaurants.
