Celebrate Native American & Alaska Native culture and heritage during this weekend's Sunset at the Zoo

The wildly popular Sunset at the Zoo allows guests to enjoy exploring the zoo, with music, food trucks, family activities and more until the sun goes down for only $6 when purchased in advance.

The popular summertime event, Sunset at the Zoo is returning to Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens TONIGHT, Friday, August 23, 2024.

The zoo, located at 3755 W. Seminole Blvd. Sanford. reopens at 5 pm for the event and offers wild fun until the sun goes down.

The all-ages after hours event, Sunset at the Zoo, allows friends and families to enjoy some extra-hours fun - but with an added twist, celebrating the connections that inspire people to take action for wildlife, while also forging connections with different cultures in our communities.

Each month’s event celebrates a culture, complete with activities, food and educational opportunities, with August cekebrating Native American & Alaska Native culture and heritage!

Enjoy an evening full of live music and entertainment, cultural enrichment, themed keeper chats, some of your favorite local food trucks, and best of all, the chance to see some of your favorite animals after the heat of the day.

Several vendors and food trucks are scheduled to be in attendance including, Honey B’s Ice Tree, O Sweet Minis, Fry Bread Truck and GoJuice. Concessions will also be available for purchase at Graze.
