Celebrate Independence Day in Haines City during Thunder on the Ridge on July 4, 2024. Taking place at Lake Eva Park, this free event is one Haines City’s signature events.
Since 1998, residents and visitors have joined Haines City to celebrate this Fourth of July tradition. With the title of Polk County’s largest firework display,
Haines City strives to make this a memorable event for the entire family. They will have plenty of cold beer, food, live entertainment, children’s activities, and much more.
The event takes place at Lake Eva Park which has a lot of green space and multiple play areas for kids. While the park as a lot of picnic pavilions throughout, we would suggest that you bring chairs and blankets.
Activities throughout the day includes live entertainment, food trucks, splash zone, yard games, and a beer garden.
Entertainment Schedule
4:30 PM: The Free Whiskey Band
5:30 PM: MoGreen (Chasin Jason)
6:15 PM: The Rundown - Band
7:30 PM: ICON Party Band (Eklectic Entertainment)
The National Anthem will be performed before the fireworks by Jason Green.
