Casual dining chain The Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is getting ready to open its first Orlando area restaurant this summer, serving up TV-style dinner meals in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
With its rustic charm, welcoming ambiance, and a menu that celebrates comfort food with a creative twist, The Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is set to open at 8019 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Four Corners in late July.
The restaurant's rustic décor, complete with exposed wooden beams and cozy fireplaces, influenced by the lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains will be the perfect backdrop to enjoy delicious handcrafted comfort food, from the scratch-made kitchen.
The menu caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Whether you're a meat lover, a vegetarian, or have specific dietary needs, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings.
For starters, the Lazy Dog offers a variety of appetizers that are perfect for sharing. From their famous Ahi Tuna Poke Stack, with its delicate flavors and vibrant presentation, to the hearty Bison Meatball Sliders, every dish is carefully crafted to tantalize the taste buds.
Main courses at Lazy Dog are equally impressive, with options like the mouthwatering BBQ Bison Meatloaf, served with creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, or the refreshing Grilled Chicken & Avocado Salad, bursting with vibrant colors and flavors.
Vegetarian and vegan options are abundant, such as the flavorful Portobello and Quinoa Bowl, a delightful combination of roasted vegetables, quinoa, and a balsamic glaze.
Their bar offers an extensive selection of craft beers, handcrafted cocktails, and an impressive wine list.
Currently, the California chain are represented here in the sunshine state with a lone store in Boca Raton, but that will change in July when this second Florida location opens in Kissimmee.
Lazy Dog describes their restaurants as a place that "offers the warmth and care you get in a small mountain town. It’s the perfect environment for a quick weeknight dinner, a meandering meal with old friends or a big night out. Guests can continue the experience at home by taking advantage of hand-crafted TV dinners made in-house and the Lazy Dog Beer Club, a quarterly membership program that gives members access to beers from small craft brewers, merchandise and in-restaurant benefits."
The restaurant will be open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch with a bar that includes specialty cocktails and a wide selection of craft beers.
As the restaurant readies to open, they are looking to hire over 200 people for its new location opening in late July.
The restaurant is accepting applications for servers, cooks, bartenders and host/hostesses.
