Due to the approaching Hurricane Ian to the Florida coast, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay have announced that the park will be closed Wednesday 28. and Thursday 29. September, 2022.
An announcement on the theme parks website says:
To ensure the safety of our ambassadors, guests, and animals as Hurricane Ian moves through Florida, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be closed on Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29. Precautions are in place following the parks’ comprehensive weather preparedness plan to ensure the safety of our animals and ambassadors during this time. Guests are encouraged to check back on our website and follow our social media channels for updates.
Theme Park & Water Park Admission Tickets
All admission tickets have been extended through December 31, 2022.
Annual Pass Member Guest Tickets
Annual Pass Members’ guest tickets with an expiration date of Sept. 30 will be extended through Oct. 16.
Busch Gardens Tampa is the first Central Florida theme park to announce a closure due to Hurricane Ian, we await updates from Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, LEGOLAND Florida, and other area attractions.
