Earlier this week as Florida's west coast prepared for a direct hit from Hurricane Milton and with Tampa under threat of the storm, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay closed to weather the storm, check out the latest here.
Due to the projected path of Hurricane Milton, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay enacted its Named Storm Policy and closed on Tuesday, October 8; Wednesday, October 9; and Thursday, October 10.
Now that Milton has passed over the state, Busch Gardens is evaluating the park and is currently still closed.

Busch Gardens Tampa will remain closed on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. Please check back for updates on re-opening information and Howl-O-Scream.
Adventure Island will remain CLOSED on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. Please check back for updates on re-opening information.
All date-intended tickets for closure days have been extended through December 31, 2024 and require no action to be taken. Howl-O-Scream tickets may be used for any remaining Howl-O-Scream event nights.
Busch Gardens has expressed their thanks to the dedicated team of animal care experts, including veterinarians, who remained onsite during the storm to monitor the animals, and to the ambassadors who are onsite to help ensure the park is ready to welcome guests back to the park.
