Walt Disney World has decided to close Disney’s Blizzard Beach for the next three days, starting today, due to low temperatures.
Don't set out for Disney’s Blizzard Beach the next few days as the water park has been closed for the next three days, starting today, Thursday, November 21 through until Saturday, November 23, 2025 due to forecast low temperatures blowing through Central Florida.
The water park, themed to a melting ski resort with immersive theming is currently scheduled to re-open on Sunday, November 24, but this is only if temperatures improve.
It’s “snow-joke’’ but here in Central Florida it is typical during the winter months for the water parks to close when temperatures fall.
From now through Spring we can expect Disney’s Blizzard Beach to close several times thanks to the cooler temps.
We have gorgeous blue skies today, Thursday, but despite the sunshine, afternoon highs are expected to only hit the mid- to upper 60s—around 10 degrees below seasonal averages.
Moving into the weekend, and the cooler temps continue, with Central Florida facing some of the coldest temperatures since last winter.
Overnight lows are forecast to dive into the 30s and 40s, with afternoon highs again in the mid-60s.
Wrap up warm Central Florida!
