With forecast low temperatures arriving in Central Florida, Universal Volcano Bay is temporarily closing for two days,
Universal Volcano Bay is closing for the first time this fall/winter season as a cold front pushes through Central Florida.
The popular water park will be closed for the next two days, Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22, 2025.
The water park is currently scheduled to re-open on Saturday, November 23, but with cooler temperatures set to continue throughout the weekend, the water park may extend the closure further.
Here in Central Florida it is typical during the winter months for the water parks to close when temperatures fall.
Typically from now through until Spring expect the area water parks to be closed several times due to the cooler temps.
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is also closed, choosing to close from today, through Saturday.
We have beautiful blue skies today, Thursday, but despite the sunshine, afternoon highs are expected to only hit the mid- to upper 60s—around 10 degrees below seasonal averages.
Moving into the weekend, and the cooler temps continue, with Central Florida facing some of the coldest temperatures since last winter.
Overnight lows are forecast to dive into the 30s and 40s, with afternoon highs again in the mid-60s.
Wrap up warm Central Florida, at least through the weekend!
