Florida's premier horror convention was forced to postpone this year's fall editions of the convention due to Hurricane Milton.
Orlando's legendary convention weekend for fans that enjoy the dark side of comic con, Spooky Empire was set to return Friday, October 11 - Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
Sadly Hurricane Milton had its own plans for that particular weekend, and organizers were forced to postpone the convention to a later date.
Fortunately a new date has been announced with fans only having to wait until Friday, Noveeber 1 - Sunday, November 3, 2024 for the convention to return.
The venue is the same, the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
In addition to a huge variety of celebrities, highlights of November's convention include Spooky Empire’s Horror Film Festival featuring films from all over the world, a Tattoo Festival with 120+ artists, and a huge vendor room with vendors selling collectibles, clothing, art and more.
Special FX Makeup and Demos are offered from the pros for guests to watch. Live bands, drag shows, and burlesque performances will take place at Spooky Empire, featuring a performance by Vision Video.
Costume contests are also held where guests can win over $1000 in cash and prizes!
Spooky Empire has an amazing lineup of celebrity guests for the fall edition, including the talented Carla Gugino (Haunting of Hill House, The Fall of the House of the Usher, Haunting of Bly Manor and more!).
The cast of “Hellraiser”: Doug Bradley, Barbie Wilde, Nicholad Vince, Simon Bamford, Ashley Laurence and Andrew Robinson join legendary writer Clive Barker for one of his last convention appearances.
Saturday morning icon Sid Krofft, creator of “H.R. Pufnstuf”, “Land of the Lost” & “Sigmund & the Sea Monsters”.
Hocus Pocus icons: Doug Jones and Thora Birch.
Monster High icons: Creator Garrett Sander and the voices of our favorite monsters Karen Strassman, Paula Rhodes, Salli Saffioti, Erin Fitzgerald and America Young!
