As low temperatures settle over Central Florida, the area's water parks all remain closed due to the chilly weather.
As the holidays get underway, colder temps have settled over Central Florida forcing the major water parks in the area to close for several days.
Friday night into Saturday morning was the coldest night of the year so far, with temperatures dropping into the 30s and 40s.
Ok, so yes, it's cold, but the good news is that we get wall-to-wall blue skies throughout the weekend.
Here is the latest from the water parks:
Disney's Blizzard Beach has been closed since Thursday, Dec. 21 and will remain closed through today, Saturday, Dec, 23, re-opening at 10 am tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 24..
Universal Volcano Bay Water Park has also been closed since Thursday, Dec. 21 and will remain closed through today, Saturday, Dec, 23, re-opening tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 24 at 10 am, with early admission at 9 am for resort guests.
Like Blizzard Beach and Volcano Bay, SeaWorld's Aquatica Orlando has been closed since Thursday, Dec. 21 and will remain closed through today, Saturday, Dec, 23, re-opening tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 24 at 10 am.
As cold temperatures continue into the weekend, Saturday morning lows are in the 40s and although we will see sunshine throughout the day, highs on Saturday will only reach the mid-60s — about 10 degrees below average.
