A follow up of sorts to the Award Winning "The City Beautiful, an Original Live Band Burlesque Musical," the latest production from Blacklist Babes Cabaret and Cheesy Pizza Productions is ."A City Beautiful Story, Tragedy at Hotel San Juan."
Coming in May to Orlando, Henry the Historian will take you on another trip through time, but in this new original musical the Blacklist Babes focus on a very specific place in history, the Hotel San Juan (where the Morgan & Morgan building now stands). There was murder and mystery all throughout history but nothing compares to the stories held there!
Taking place from May 13 - 27, this now original production features original music, live band, burlesque, mystery, horror and tragedy.

This new production comes from the hubby and wife creative team at Cheesy Pizza Productions, David J. is a professional Writer, Editor, Maker of hilarious burlesque and drag musical tracks, Podcaster, DM/GM, Creator, etc... Marisa is a professional Singer, Actress, Burlesque Performer, Founder of the Blacklist Babes Cabaret, Lyricist, Composer, etc...
In 2019 they put their creative brains together and wrote their first, scripted burlesque cabaret set to cover songs played by a live band.
This led to more ideas, more original scripts, more live music. In 2022 David & Marisa wrote an original script for a musical but this time with original music.
As of 2023 they've written 6 original scripts together and won their first award, "Favorite Local Theatrical Show: The City Beautiful, a Live Band Burlesque Musical" from the Watermark's WAVE Awards.
