Kissimmee's newest park, Lancaster Ranch Park includes the return of Green Meadows Farm Petting Farm, and so much more.
Lancaster Ranch Park is an exciting new 150-acre park coming to the City of Kissimmee.
Designed to offer a variety of recreational opportunities, this park will feature vast green spaces, large pavilions, playgrounds, a dedicated dog park for both large and small dogs, and other modern amenities.
One of the most unique aspects of Lancaster Ranch Park is its connection to Shingle Creek and the Shingle Creek Bike Trail.
Visitors will have the opportunity to canoe or kayak along Shingle Creek or take advantage of the bike trail, which links Downtown Kissimmee and Kissimmee Lakefront Park to Shingle Creek Regional Park.
Lancaster Ranch Park is currently under construction and will be opening in phases, with Phase 1A, Green Meadows Petting Farm now open!
Green Meadows Petting Farm is back and better than ever! The City of Kissimmee has partnered with Green Meadows Petting Farm to provide this petting farm attraction inside the new Lancaster Ranch Park.
A beloved destination for generations, Green Meadows Petting Farm first opened in Kissimmee in 1988 under the shade of beautiful live oak trees. For years, it was the go-to spot where children and families could enjoy their first encounters with farm animals—cattle, alpacas, donkeys, pigs, bunnies, and more—or simply relax on a classic hayride.
The popular attraction closed on January 18, 2018, but now, thanks to the City of Kissimmee's partnership with Green Meadows Farm, the petting farm has found a new home at Lancaster Ranch Park!
Visitors can enjoy up-close interactions with friendly farm animals, take a scenic hayride through Old Florida, and watch cattle grazing in the distance—all while soaking in the beauty of the great outdoors.
