BBQ Concept, Boxer & Clover shuts down the smoker at East End Market in search of new home

The BBQ concept from Matt Hinckley and Trivium lead singer Matt Heafy, Boxer & Clover is saying farewell to East End Market after six months.

Early in January we brought you the news that Farm & Haus had closed their location at Audubon Park's East End Market to concentrate on their cafe on Park Avenue in Winter Park, with Matt Hinckley who owns Hinckley's Fancy Meats, a specialty sandwich shop that has been an East End Market favorite for five years expanding his presence at the location with a new barbecue concept.

Together, with Trivium lead singer Matt Heafy, they opened Boxer & Clover at East End Market at the end of March, offering responsibly-sourced meats straight from local farms, including tender brisket, ribs and pulled pork.

Chef Pete Morales who had been smoking meats at Hinkley Meats for several years, moved over to Boxer & Clover, working the cconcept's two smokers (Lucy & Shirley).

Now, Matt Hinckley has announced that Boxer & Clover has said farewell to East End Market, after a "6-month pop-up at East End Market," opting to find a new home for the business.

Fans of the concepts brisket sandwich, pecan pie, or 3-meat platte will still be able to satisfy the craving atpop-up events events around town until a new home is found.

Hinckley posted the news on social media, commenting, "Thank you, Audubon Park, for a great 6-month pop-up! Thank you, East End Market for being the best small business incubator in Orlando. We’ll be popping up regularly around town. We’ll see you soon. Just follow the smoke."
