Ace Cafe Orlando Closing

Ace Cafe Orlando have finally confirmed that the popular hang out is closing forever,

Last night Ace posted message on their social accounts at 6 pm, confirming the news that the location has in fact closed.

Ace Cafe Orlando first opened in May 2017, and has operates as a restaurant, concert venue, and event space, plus the parking lot has been home to many popular car and motorcycle shows.

Located in downtown, the Harry P. Leu building located at the corner of West Livingston Street and Garland Avenue, at 100 W. Livingston Street was built in 1926 and was originally a hardware and mill building supply shop, over the years its been home to a church, various bars and clubs, and more.

Rumours now point to the building being sold, with it to be demolished to make room for yet another downtown apartment building, although this has not been confirmed as yet.

The original Ace Cafe opened way back in 1938, just outside London, England, since then it has been a mecca for those passionate about cars, bikes and rock ’n roll culture.

The original location on London’s North Circular Road began as a roadside cafe for truckers, then evolved into a popular destination for rock ‘n roll-loving teens riding motorbikes during the '50s and '60s. Today, the Ace has a multi-generational appeal among motorsports enthusiasts from all over the world.

Other Ace Cafe locations around the globe include Finland, China, and Switzerland.
