Celebrate fall in Florida at Amber Brooke Farm’s biggest festival of the year! The family can pick pumpkins, get lost in the crop maze, pet animals in the petting zoo, pick flowers and vegetables, listen to live music and entertainment, and more. The art exhibition runs from September 17 – November 3, 2024, and residents and visitors are encouraged to visit the Terrace Gallery to enjoy a beautiful display that enhances the rich Latin American culture and heritage through the artistic creativity and lens of our beloved visual artists.

The one of a kind outdoor haunted attraction, Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is a miniature horror theme park in Plant City, Florida. The attraction, also known as the i4 Fear Park, contains multiple haunted houses (aka haunted trails), escape games, laser tag, food vendors, a gift shop, axe throwing, and a common area that features an ornate centerpiece with wandering scare actors. Each event either features two or three open trails with a different theme or story for each session that the haunt is open.

Activities this year include two hay rides, corn maze, toddler maze, pumpkin patch, Country Store, play structures, high strikers, football area, basketball area, The Cow Wash, and much more! Pumpkin chunkin’ and tennis ball launching from an air cannon are also available.

Join us at the farm for our fall festivities. Starting September 27, the farm will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Parking and admission to the farm is complimentary. The Community United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch has been a CUMC tradition for over 25 years, during the month of October, thousands of people pass through their patch. Not only is the pumpkin patch a fundraising effort for our Student Ministry, but it also serves as an outreach for the community.

Dr. Grimley's Haunted Trail is located at Sunsational Farms, 40541 Roger Giles Road, Umatilla. This year the’ve expanded to 2 themed trails where the’ll prey upon your deepest phobias with horrific scares designed to unsettle and disorient. Double the trails… double the terror… double the value. And there’s more…From 8 pm until 10 pm each night, both trails will terrify your uneasy soul. But after 10 pm, they turn off the lights and amp up the scares for those brave enough to enter the trails for the “Lights Out” experience with nothing but a tiny hand-held light (provided) to illuminate your way (and any horror that may cross your path…)

Here at Hagerty Farms Pumpkin Patch, lovated at Oviedo High School, you'll discover pumpkins, gourds, more pumpkins and all pumpkins, just pumpkins of all kinds! This is a great spot for seasonal family pictures too.

Mick Farms Market is a working fruit and vegetable farm located at 4261 Canoe Creek Rd, St Cloud, they are open daily throughout the year, and during fall they celebrate pumpkin season with their own farm grown pumpkins.

Pumpkins at Santa’s Tree Farm are fresh picked, and then displayed in a shaded lot to help preserve their freshness. There is so much to enjoy here including barnyard animals, horse and pony rides, hay rides, bounce pillow, giant slide, barrel train rides, mazes and play areas.

A brand-new Junie B. Jones escapade, written just for Orlando Family Stage as a world-premiere production. The ever-lovable (yet quite a handful) Junie B. has a slight problem – she’s a bit afraid of Halloween! Are there real witches and monsters amongst the trick-or-treaters? Do bats really nest in your hair? What exactly is candy corn? However, before the big night, Junie B. plans to win all the games and prizes at the school carnival, hoping that will arm her with all the courage and bravery she needs.

Bok Tower Gardens and master stone balancer Adam Conard, also known as the artist ZOTO, will present the first full campus exhibition of stone balances. The exhibition Stories in Stone features 20 mind-bending stone balances housed in beautiful areas of the gardens.

National Night Out events in Orlando

The Thornton Park Neighborhood Association will again be participating in the National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1, from 6 to 9 pm at the Veranda. There will be kids' activities and maybe a surprise visitor from OPD! Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be provided by the Thornton Park Neighborhood Association. Learn about the neighborhood watch program, and meet more of your neighbors! Join us for this free event!

Join the Winter Garden Police Department for a FREE night of community partnership the whole family will enjoy! The event includes: Kids Activities, DJ Entertainment, Carnival Food, Games, Raffles, Meet and Greet with Your Local Police Officers, Police Demonstrations & Equipment on Display, Crime Prevention Tips, Community Booths and more.

National Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1 from 5 - 8 pm at Waterfront Park. National Night Out focuses on fostering relationships between law enforcement, and children and families within the community. It encourages crime prevention, and promotes an atmosphere that improves community safety, and hopefully, reduces juvenile crime. There will be various vendors, and food available. Come out for a fun evening.

KaleidoScope.360° is a FREE family-friendly outdoor movie series to be held on the first Wednesday of each month at Luminary Green in Creative Village, Downtown Orlando. The series kicks off on Wednesday, October 2 with the 1982 Steven Spielberg classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Starting with a pre-show at 6:30 pm and the main feature at 7 pm, the evening will concludes with Luminary Nights on the Green, a 20-minute show featuring projected animations and lighting synchronized to music.
